How do I download my electronic documents?

Updated over 3 months ago

To access and download the ISO standards you have purchased from the ISO Store, follow these simple steps. These instructions outline the process to ensure you can retrieve your files efficiently.

Pre-Download Steps

1. Log in to Your ISO Account

  • Visit the ISO Store website and sign in using the email address you used during the purchase.

  • If you don’t recall your password, use the “Forgot my password” feature to reset it.

2. Verify Order Confirmation

  • Ensure your purchase has been fully processed; files will only appear in your account once the order has been confirmed.

Post-Login Actions

3. Assign Licenses to Enable Download

  • Once logged in, go to your account’s license management section.

  • Assign the license for each purchased standard to yourself or the intended user. This step is required before downloads are permitted.

4. Download Purchased Files

  • After assigning the license, navigate to the Orders or Library section in your ISO Store account.

  • Locate the purchased documents and initiate the download from there.

Troubleshooting Tips

Missing Purchased Documents

  • If your purchased standards are not visible in your account, confirm that you are logged in with the correct email address associated with the purchase.

  • Double-check the status of your order to ensure the purchase has been successfully processed.

  • Check the 'Products' tab for purchased items and 'Orders' tab for order details as these sections are specific to where the downloads and order information are stored.

  • Ensure all required fields in your profile are completed and saved. For example, fields like State/County may need to be filled in for your items to appear correctly. After updating, log out and back in using the correct email login to see your purchased standards.

Password Reset Issues

  • Use the "Forgot my password" feature to request a password reset. Follow the emailed instructions to create a new password and regain account access.

Important Note

All electronic files are subject to ISO Copyright, which you will need to comply with.
